Founded in 1954 by Mrs. (Sally) Lyons Brown was the first club in the United States to recognize the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. As the initial USA registry of cavaliers, the CKCSC-USA has always kept its’ own records on cavaliers. The club also awards its own conformation, obedience and rally titles. There are four regional clubs that exist under this club. Each of the regional clubs and the national club hold various events for the Cavalier enthusiast.
American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club
In 1996, the ACKCSC was founded and recognized as the national parent club of cavaliers by the American Kennel Club.
